China Coal News is an authoritative industry media outlet under the supervision of the China National Coal Association. It specializes in reporting key developments, technological advancements, and exemplary projects across the coal sector, with significant influence throughout the industry.
Aikte’s integrated waste heat utilization project at the Gaojiapu coal mine was featured in China Coal News, highlighting the practical application and engineering outcomes of the company's technologies in large state-owned coal operations. Launched in 2014, the project was fully designed and integrated by Aikte. It recovers residual heat from underground mine water to provide domestic hot water and auxiliary heating, saving approximately 13,000 tons of standard coal and reducing CO? emissions by around 40,000 tons annually. The system has operated reliably and has become a model project in the field of green mine transformation.
Aikte will continue to follow its mission of “converting heat into energy and achieving efficiency through intelligence,” promoting engineering-based solutions for medium- and low-grade heat utilization, and contributing to a greener, low-carbon transition in the coal industry.
